Diamond Drilling – Advanced Training
The purpose of training against this standard is to provide the candidates with the knowledge and understanding of carrying out Diamond Drilling operations safely.
Candidate pre-requisites
Undertaken the basic diamond drilling course and have an understanding of abrasive wheels, including the safe use of the angle grinder and diamond drilling or completed the basic diamond drilling course.

- Pre-Start and Post Stop Check
- General Maintenance
- Large Diameter and Deep Drilling Set Ups
- Report, Record and Maintain Records
- Ancillaries Including Extension Rods and Carriage Extensions
- Carry Out Practical of Diamond Drilling 300 mm Diameter and 107 Diameters to a Depth of 1 Meter Both Horizontally and Vertically
