How We Started

At Training and Assessment Consultants ( TAC Ltd), we are passionate about empowering the future of construction. Our company was formed in October 2003 by Joel Vinsant following his long career in the diamond drilling & sawing industry. He recognised a need for both training and NVQ Assessment within the specialist sector. In 2019 we had an achievement rate for NVQs of 97% and a 91% overall learner satisfaction rating! We have also received several certificates of accreditation.

Working closely with the Drilling & Sawing Association (DSA), TAC Ltd has developed the required training courses, along with the First Specialist Construction training program scheme. Assessment of operators in achieving NVQ status, assisting the employer’s improvement of company portfolio and CSCS carded employees. In addition to the scheduled courses we offer at our training centre in Nottingham, we are able to run courses at a venue of your choice and receive the same quality and standard of training.

Construction Training

We only use industry-experienced and qualified tutors and assessors to conduct our training. We also use a wide range of learning techniques to engage our learners fully.

In addition to our highly experienced internal training staff, boasting a collective 85 years of construction industry expertise, we employ numerous external tutors and assessors. This strategic partnership empowers us to offer our training programs nationwide, beside our exceptional training and practical facilities in Nottingham.
